FRANKFURT, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 347.45 points, or 2.86 percent, to close at 12,511.65 points.
Multinational software corporation SAP won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 10.23 percent. Deutsche Bank and automotive manufacturer Volkswagen gained by 5.15 percent and 4.91 percent respectively.
Personal-care company Beiersdorf, housing association Vonovia and energy group RWE were the only three losers among the blue chips, by falling 1.29 percent, 0.64 percent and 0.52 percent respectively.
SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 833.0 million euros (919.8 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
