JERUSALEM, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- NICE Ltd., an Israeli leading software company, announced on Wednesday that it has been awarded the project to modernize voice and communications recording systems for Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL).

LVNL provides air traffic control (ATC) services for the Dutch civil airspace, facilitating more than 600,000 flights each year.

The project is part of a broader LVNL initiative to fully update its voice communications technology and infrastructure.

LVNL will use the advanced NICE Inform incident recording and reconstruction system to record Dutch military airspace communications, and civil ATC communications at various airports.

NICE Inform system records all types of voice communications of aircraft, ATC operations and ground personnel.

It enables incidents to be reviewed and replayed exactly as they occurred by seamlessly interfacing with a huge number of ATC systems to capture and synchronize voice, radar, CCTV video and other data.

NICE, founded in 1986 and headquartered in the city of Ra'anana in central Israel, is a global leading provider of both cloud and on-premises enterprise software solutions.

NICE's solutions are used by over 25,000 organizations in more than 150 countries. Enditem
