Indonesia to compete in e-sports world championship in Brazil

JAKARTA, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia will compete in the 2019 Free Fire World Series (FFWS), an international e-sports championship slated for November 16 in Rio de Janeiro.

The tournament offers a total prize of 400,000 U.S. dollars for teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam.

E-sports will become a medal event in the 2022 Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China. Enditem
