KIGALI, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Four people were injured in a grenade attack on Saturday evening in western Rwanda's Rusizi district, Rwanda National Police said on Sunday.

Four people sustained minor injuries after an unidentified attacker lobbed a grenade at around 7:30 pm in Kamembe town, close to the border with eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), the police said in a statement.

Security organs have launched investigations to bring those responsible to face justice.

Saturday's attack comes two weeks after an armed attack close to the Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda, where at least 14 people were killed. Enditem
