AMMAN, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- A Jordanian business delegation will visit Qatar next week to look into means to boost trade exchange and economic cooperation, state-run Petra news agency reported Wednesday.
Meeting will be held over efforts to remove obstacles affecting trade exchange, Nael Kabariti, head of Jordan's chamber of commerce, was quoted by Petra as saying.
He highlighted the key role that Qatari investments have played in supporting the Jordanian economy.
Jordan recently appointed a top diplomat as Ambassador to Qatar, years after lowering its diplomatic representation in the Gulf country to the level of charge d'affaires.
Last year, Qatar announced that it would provide 10,000 jobs for Jordanians, in addition to a package of investments in infrastructure projects in Jordan valued at 500 million U.S. dollars. Enditem
