BUDAPEST, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The 16th edition of Hacktivity, Hungary's most prominent two-day professional cybersecurity conference, kicked off here on Friday.

The event brings together 48 international experts, covering the latest trends of cybersecurity.

Organizer Attila Marosi told national television M1: "We have a lot of interesting programs for our visitors this year. We will show a Facebook bot that helps filter out fake news, and we will also show how to hack a car or even a pacemaker."

Hacktivity is the biggest event of its kind in central and eastern Europe. About 1,000 visitors from all around the globe attend every year.

The event includes applied security training sessions and a highly technical conference. It is designed to cater to students as well as seasoned professionals, while the presentations are informal, informative yet sometimes deeply technological. Enditem
