WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that American troops had killed a person who would have likely succeeded Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as the new leader of the Islamic State (IS).

BAKU -- One man was killed and three others injured after an exploration boat owned by Azerbaijan's state oil firm, SOCAR, exploded in the Caspian Sea on Tuesday, emergency authorities said.

LOS ANGELES -- The Kincade Fire burning in Sonoma county spread to 75,415 acres (305.2 square km) and is 15 percent contained, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) reported Tuesday.

TUNIS -- Tunisian coast guards have rescued 11 sailors from a fishing boat which sank off the coast in southeastern Tunisia, the Tunisian Customs Directorate said Tuesday.
