German shares close flat

FRANKFURT, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 12.22 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 13,148.50 points.

Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.03 percent. Automotive supplier Continental and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 2.13 percent and 1.74 percent respectively.

Energy group RWE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.73 percent. Housing association Vonovia and aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero went down by 2.44 percent and 1.80 percent respectively.

Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 300.8 million euros (334.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
