LONDON, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.12 percent, or 8.57 points, to close at 7,396.65 points.
Imperial Brands, a British multinational tobacco company, soared 2.39 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Centrica and Associated British Foods increased by 2.20 percent and 2.02 percent respectively.
