TUNIS, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia's participation in the ongoing second China International Import Expo (CIIE) is more active than in the first edition last year, according to the commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia.
The number of Tunisia's participants has increased significantly from five to about 27, who has a 136-square-meter stand for national exhibition and a 108-square-meter enterprise exhibition stand at the second CIIE, Zhang Fengling told Xinhua on Tuesday.
An economic and trade Tunisian delegation to the CIIE is being headed by Minister of Commerce Omar Behi, Zhang said.
She revealed that Tunisia aims to promote its tourism and investment environment as well as agricultural products such as olive oil at the international event in China.
Hailing the great potential of the mutual economic and trade cooperation between China and Tunisia, the Chinese diplomat said China is ready to strengthen cooperation with Tunisia on a footing of equality and mutual benefit. Enditem
