Ethiopian, Czech FMs vow to deepen bilateral ties

ADDIS ABABA, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Foreign ministers of Ethiopia and the Czech Republic on Wednesday vowed to deepen bilateral ties as they met in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister Gedu Andargachew, during his meeting with the visiting Czech Republic Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek, stressed Ethiopia's strategic importance for Czech Republic to penetrate the African continent, noting the Ethiopian capital hosts the headquarters of various continental and international organizations.

Petricek said Ethiopia is one of the Czech Republic's priority strategic partners in Africa, and emphasized his country's resolve to promote cooperation in education, agriculture, transport as well as trade and investment sectors. Enditem
