SINGAPORE, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.22 percent, or 7.01 points, to close at 3,238.86.
A total of 2.82 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.32 billion Singapore dollars (about 969.23 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 214 to 194.
The STI index went down 0.23 percent, or 7.37 points, to close at 3,231.85 on Thursday. Enditem
