FRANKFURT, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 61.52 points, or 0.47 percent, to close at 13,241.75 points.
Multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.73 percent. Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen and pharmaceutical company Merck rose by 1.97 percent and 1.74 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 0.90 percent. Housing association Vonovia and energy group RWE went down by 0.36 percent and 0.31 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 350.6 million euros (386.8 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
