AMMAN, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Jordan and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on Monday discussed at a meeting in Amman ways to boost cooperation and exchange expertise, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

At the meeting between a NATO delegation and Jordan's Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, the two sides discussed developments in the Middle East amidst unstable situations.

Highlighting the impact of hosting a large number of Syrian refugees in Jordan, Razzaz said Jordan has been working with regional and international entities to find solutions to regional conflicts.

Also Monday, Jordan's Senate President Faisal Fayez met with the delegation and stressed the impact of hosting 1.3 million Syrian refugees.
