German shares edge up Tuesday

FRANKFURT, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 14.11 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 13,221.12 points. Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.57 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and Deutsche Post rose by 1.40 percent and 0.92 percent respectively.

Energy group RWE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 0.94 percent. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and material manufacturer Covestro went down by 0.92 percent and 0.91 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 264.3 million euros (292.7 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
