FRANKFURT, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 41.49 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 13,245.58 points.
Automotive manufacturer BMW lost 1.50 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies, which lost 1.09 percent and 1.02 percent respectively.
Reinsurance company Munich Re gained 0.70 percent, becoming the top gainer. Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero and insurance and financial services company Allianz advanced 0.62 percent and 0.21 percent respectively.
Allianz was the most traded share with a turnover of 120.7 million euros (132.8 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
