Norwegian skiers sweep podium of FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Ruka

HELSINKI, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Norwegian Jarl Magnus Riiber won the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup race in Ruka, Finland on Friday.

Riiber led the standings after the large hill ski jump by collecting a total of 155.5 points.

He headed into the 5 km cross-country section with a 28-second advantage over compatriot Espen Bjornstad.

Riiber completed the cross-country event in a time of 13 minutes 30.7 seconds to top the first podium of the new season.

Bjornstad took second, as he ended 53.3 seconds down. Jens Lurass Oftebro, also from Norway, ranked third as he was 1:17.1 behind Riiber. Enditem
