ULAN BATOR, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Namjil Chinbat was appointed on Monday as the new head of Mongolia's Constitutional Court at an all-member meeting of the Constitutional Court of the country.
Chinbat replaced Dorj Odbayar, who was removed from his post in November over a sexual harassment scandal.
The 63-year-old has served twice as a member of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia in 1998-2004 and since 2017, respectively.
The Constitutional Court of Mongolia consists of nine members.
Head of the Constitutional Court is chosen from the nine members of the court for a three-year term with a majority vote among the members, according to the Constitution of Mongolia. Enditem
