KABUL -- Four Taliban militants were killed and two others arrested by Afghan Special Forces in two provinces, the command of special forces said Tuesday.

"One militant was killed and two others were arrested after troops launched an operation in Nahri Sarraj district of southern Helmand province Monday night. The special forces seized a binocular and destroyed 350 kg explosive materials with some amount of weapons following the raid," the Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps said in a statement. JAKARTA -- An explosion resulted from a smoke grenade took place in Indonesia's National Monument Park (Monas) near the presidential palace in central Jakarta on Tuesday, injuring two soldiers, Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Gatot Eddy Pramono said.

The explosion occurred at about 7:20 a.m. Jakarta time and wounded two soldiers who were carrying out routine sport activities on the scene, the police chief said. (Indonesia-Blast-Injury) Enditem
