LONDON, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 1.75 percent, or 127.18 points, to close at 7,158.76 points.
Fresnillo, a Mexican-based precious metals mining company, soared 1.96 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Polymetal International and British Land Company increased by 1.84 percent and 0.92 percent, respectively.
