RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Teenage forward Antony dos Santos scored his fourth goal of the Brazilian Serie A season on Wednesday as Sao Paulo clinched a 2-1 home win over Internacional.

The 19-year-old Brazil U-23 international coolly slotted in his team's opener in the 16th minute after an Igor Gomes through ball. Dos Santos then turned provider when he capitalized on a counterattack to release Vitor Bueno, who made it 2-0 just after halftime.

Forward Guilherme Parede pulled a goal back for the visitors with a 70th-minute strike.

The result at the Morumbi stadium left Sao Paulo sixth in the standings with one match remaining in the season.

Meanwhile, Jorge Sampaoli's Santos missed the chance to secure second spot when they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Athletico Paranaense.

In Belo Horizonte, Atletico Mineiro won 2-0 at home to Botafogo, thanks to goals from Jair and Luan.

Chapecoense, who are already relegated, secured a 3-0 home victory over CSA, with Gustavo Campanharo, Arthur Gomes and Mauricio Ramos all on the scoresheet.

In other matches on Wednesday, Corinthians won 1-0 at Ceara and Fluminense were held to a goalless home draw against Fortaleza. Enditem
