FRANKFURT, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 111.78 points, or 0.86 percent, to close at 13,166.58 points.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.04 percent. Energy group RWE and multinational chemical firm Linde added 1.99 percent and 1.62 percent respectively.
Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical lost the most among the blue chips, falling 1.64 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and European health care company Fresenius SE shed 1.50 percent and 0.85 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 201.4 million euros (223.4 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
