MOSCOW -- Two people died and six more were injured in a fire on early Wednesday in a hostel in eastern Siberia's Irkutsk region, Russia's emergency ministry said.

ASADABAD, Afghanistan -- Five militants of Islamic State (IS) outfit have been killed in an airstrike launched by NATO-led coalition forces in Afghanistan's eastern Kunar province, the military said Wednesday.
