LAMU, Kenya -- The Somali extremist group al-Shabab said it has attacked the U.S. military base in Kenya's coastal Lamu County on Sunday morning.

WASHINGTON -- A massive crash on a highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania on Sunday morning killed at least five people and injured dozens of others, authorities said.
