NAIROBI -- A U.S. service member and two Department of Defense contractors were killed, following an attack by al-Shabab on Sunday at the Manda Bay Airfield in Kenya, according to the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM).

Additionally, two Department of Defense members were injured, who are now in stable condition and being evacuated, the AFRICOM said in a statement. (Kenya-Al Shabab-Attack)

ZAGREB -- Exit polls showed Croatia's former Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic is leading in the country's presidential runoff on Sunday, with 53.25 percent of the votes.

ADDIS ABABA -- Seven people were killed in a car accident on Sunday in southern Ethiopia's Borena zone, Oromia regional state, local authorities said.

The accident happened after a bus carrying passengers traveling on the road overturned and crashed in the Dire district in the Borena zone on Sunday morning, state-affiliated Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) reported quoting the Borena zone administration office. (Ethiopia-Traffic Accident)
