PRAGUE -- A Million Moments for Democracy movement, a Czech political campaigning organization, announced on Tuesday a new wave of demonstrations at the end of February to demand the resignation of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis.

The new demonstrations will feature a protest-discussion every week in all of the country's 13 regional cities before finally concluding in Prague. The group said at a press conference that they are trying to spread political awareness not just on national issues, but also local ones. (Czech-PM-Demonstrations)

ISLAMABAD -- A bomb went off near a vehicle of security forces in provincial capital Quetta of Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, leaving two people killed and 18 others injured, hospital sources and police said.

The target of the explosion was a vehicle of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps and several of them got injured in the attack, Deputy Inspector General of Quetta police Abdul Razzaq Cheema told Xinhua. (Pakistan-Quetta-Blast)

YAOUNDE -- At least six civilians were killed in incursions by the terror group Boko Haram that took place Monday night in Cameroon's Far North region, according to local sources.

The localities that Boko Haram have targeted are Moudoukoua and Hitere, both in the Mayo-Moskota sub-division. Three people were also kidnapped, according to local villagers who asked not to be named. (Cameroon-Terrorist-Attack)

WASHINGTON -- A pileup involving about 30 vehicles in northeast U.S. state of Maine on Tuesday morning caused some injuries, including one in serious condition, said the police.

In a pair of Facebook posts, Maine State Police said the chain reaction crash occurred on Interstate 95 in Carmel, a town in Maine's Penobscot County, and the northbound lanes have been closed. (US-Maine-Pileup) Enditem
