BEIRUT, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The Egyptian embassy in Lebanon on Tuesday opened a medical center to support the country amid its current economic crisis.
The medical center includes six clinics specialized in surgery, internal medicine, pediatric medicine, gynecology, and bones.
"Clinics will be managed by a team of doctors from the Egyptian armed forces," the embassy said in a statement.
The embassy added that the center will receive patients four days per week and will offer its services for free to all those who live on the Lebanese territories.
"This project reflects the importance of the historic ties between Lebanon and Egypt and the peoples of the two countries," it added. Enditem
