RABAT, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Turkey agreed on Wednesday in Rabat to review their current Free Trade Agreement to be more balanced, said a joint statement published by official news agency MAP.
The two countries agreed to raise bilateral trade to a "more balanced level and encourage the Turkish investments in Morocco in the production industry as well as Moroccan exports to Turkey," said the statement.
The statement was published after talks between Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and Digital Economy Moulay Hafid Elalamy and visiting Turkish Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan.
Morocco's and Turkey's experts will be working together to reach a new agreement by the end of January, Elalamy told the press after the talks. Enditem
