KIEV -- A special representative of the Iranian government will visit the Ukrainian capital next week, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported on Friday.

BERLIN -- Thousands of German farmers protested against the government's agricultural policies and caused massive traffic restrictions in German cities on Friday.

DAMASCUS -- Under the banner "We Want to Live," dozens of civilians protested against the harsh economic situation in Syria's southern province of Sweida on Friday, a war monitor reported.
