Dollar changes hands in lower 109 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 109 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.12-13 yen, compared with 109.11-21 yen in New York and 109.07-08 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1022-1023 dollars and 120.29-33 yen against 1.1017-1027 dollars and 120.25-35 yen in New York, and 1.1017-1018 dollars and 120.16-20 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
