FRANKFURT, Jan.30 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 187.88 points, or 1.41 percent, to close at 13,157.12 points.
Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.48 percent, followed by European health care company Fresenius SE and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies, which lost 3.04 percent and 2.37 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank was the only winner, rising 4.23 percent.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 350.1 million euros (386.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
