BUDAPEST, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Host Gyori Audi ETO KC beat Buducnost Montenegro 26-24 (15-12) in group 2 during the second round of the semifinal of EHF Women's Champions League here on Saturday.

This victory was the seventh win of the Hungarian team in eight games this season.

Gyor took a big step forward in moving up from the group after the win.

Gyor's game was a bit hectic, as was Montenegro's, with both teams making annoying mistakes in the first half.

In the second half, the Hungarians started slow, and the guest team took advantage of the relative clumsiness of Gyor.

Gyor managed to better its game on the sides, pushing its lead to five points (25-20), but Buducnost has shown great effort in the endgame and came close to Gyor at the end (26-24).

Best players were right back Amanda Kurtovic, who scored seven times for Gyor, and Jovanka Radicevic, who netted 10 goals for Buducnost.

In the group, Gyor stay at the top while Buducnost remain in the third position. Enditem
