MBANZA KONGO, Angola, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Angola plans to cover the entire country with national radio and television signals by 2022, the country's Minister of Social Communication Nuno Caldas Albino said here Saturday.

Albino said the country will expand the National Radio of Angola and the Public Television of Angola and achieve 100 percent national coverage in both media by 2022.

The antennas and broadcasting centers of both media, now located in the city center of Mbanza Kongo, capital of Angola's northwestern province of Zaire, will be transferred to the Kianganga area outside the capital within two months, he added.

Angola has the lowest rate of access to information through television and radio in the Southern African Development Community, a regional economic community comprising 16 member states. Enditem
