Dollar changes hands around 109.6 yen level in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands near the 109.6 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, down slightly compared to late last week in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.63-64 yen compared with 109.71-81 yen in New York and 109.92-93 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0948-0952 dollars and 120.04-05 yen against 1.0939-0949 dollars and 120.11-21 yen in New York and 1.0966-0968 dollars and 120.54-58 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
