BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- A late goal from Colombian striker Wilson Morelo earned Santa Fe Colon a 1-1 home draw with defending champions Racing Club in the Argentinian Superliga.

Matias Zaracho appeared to set the visitors on course for victory when he broke the deadlock just after the hour with a first-time finish after fine buildup play from Matias Rojas.

However, Racing's defence was caught dozing when an unmarked Morelo headed in at the far post after Luis Rodriguez's corner.

The result left Racing fifth in the 24-team Superliga standings, seven points behind leaders River Plate, who have a game in hand. Colon were 20th, with just 18 points from 20 games.

In Friday's only other fixture, Hugo Silveira scored in the 88th minute as Patronato beat Union Santa Fe 1-0 at home. The visitors were forced to play the entire second half with 10 men after the dismissal Walter Bou in first-half injury time. Enditem
