BERLIN -- One person has died and three others were injured in a shooting near a local music event late Friday, German authorities said.

HANOI -- The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) reaffirmed the bloc's commitment to collectively respond to the outbreak of COVID-19, or the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, in a statement Saturday.

The statement released by Vietnam, the rotating chair of ASEAN for 2020, said leaders of ASEAN members have expressed serious concerns over the outbreak and "solidarity and heartfelt support" for the Chinese government and people, as well as for all countries around the world, in their "tremendous endeavors" to address the epidemic. NEW DELHI -- At least four school children aged under six died in India's northern state of Punjab on Saturday when the vehicle they were traveling in suddenly caught fire, a local police officer told Xinhua over phone.

The accident occurred in the afternoon when 12 students of the Simran Public School in Punjab's Sangrur district were returning home from school. (India-Accident-Fire)

SANAA -- At least 32 people were killed in a Saudi-led coalition airstrike on the Yemeni northern province of al-Jawf on Saturday, the Yemeni Houthi rebel-run al-Masirah TV reported.

The victims were killed in the airstrike that targeted a gathering of people at the site where a Tornado warplane of the coalition crashed, the television said. (Yemen-Saudi Arabia-Airstrike) Enditem
