SARAJEVO, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- A group of 14 police officers departed from Sarajevo International Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Monday morning to join the United Nations Peace Mission in South Sudan, according to the Ministry of Security of BiH.

The 14 officers will join the unit of 15 members already stationed in South Sudan.

BiH have sent over 300 police officers for peace missions worldwide over the past 20 years.

Before taking part in peace-keeping missions, all officers had to undergo UN certified training provided by the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) in Sarajevo. Enditem
