CHICAGO, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures traded lower on Thursday morning, with wheat continuing its fall amid profit taking.
As of 1620 GMT, the most active wheat contract for March delivery was down 5 cents to 5.6025 U.S. dollars per bushel. March corn was down 1 cent to 3.795 dollars per bushel. March soybeans were down 0.5 cent to 8.9675 dollars per bushel.
CBOT wheat futures have seen a downturn with massive selling after an increase of more than 4 percent on Tuesday. Investors continued to lock in profits on Thursday morning, said market watchers.
CBOT corn and soybean prices were also weak due to trade uncertainty, as the U.S. Department of Agriculture has not confirmed any large-volume export sales since Feb. 3. Enditem
