Qatari emir visits Tunisia to boost ties: Tunisian presidency

TUNIS, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived at Tunisia on Monday for a two-day visit at the invitation of Tunisian President Kais Saied, said Tunisian presidency.

"The visit aims at boosting bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various areas, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concerns," the presidency said in a statement.

The Qatari emir headed a senior delegation comprising the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Finance Minister Ali Shareef Al-Emadi. Enditem
