NEW DELHI -- U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in the Indian capital city on Monday evening, nearly eight hours after landing in the western state of Gujarat for a two-day state visit.

WARSAW -- A poll published here on Monday predicted that President Andrzej Duda would win 41.9 percent in the first round of the vote in Poland's presidential elections on May 10, almost 20 percent more than opposition candidate Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska.

The poll was conducted on behalf of the local daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and radio station RMF FM and based on a nationwide sample of 1,100 adult Poles. (Poland-Elections)

GENEVA -- A team of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) arrived in Italy to support Italian authorities in understanding the COVID-19 situation, the WHO announced here Monday night.

GAZA -- A senior official in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) announced that a ceasefire with Israel in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip has come into effect on Monday night.
