WINDHOEK, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- Namibia's locally based football team on Saturday will face two local select teams based in northern Namibia in the Oshakati region, ahead of the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals set for Cameroon in April.

The 32-man squad mainly consisting of local players is currently in camp and most of the players have been out of action since the suspension of the Namibia Premier League.

According to coach Bobby Samaria, the squad will hold a training session at Uukwangula Stadium on Friday, and Saturday's matches will take place at 14:30 against Oshakati Best 11 and the second one at 16:45 facing Northern Namibia Best 11.

Namibia's training camp ends on March 21 and only 23 will travel for the CHAN finals to be held in Cameroon from April 4 to 26.

Namibia will open its Group D campaign against Guinea at the Limbe Stadium on April 7, before they take on Tanzania on April 11 and Zambia on April 15. Enditem
