SEOUL -- The Chinese Embassy in South Korea on Thursday donated around 25,000 medical masks to the city of Daegu in southern South Korea in an effort to support the city which was hit by COVID-19 outbreak.

KUALA LUMPUR -- A Malaysian woman on Thursday was tested positive for COVID-19, days after returning from Japan, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The 53-year old woman who returned to Malaysia on Feb. 23 started showing symptoms shortly after and was being treated at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur, the ministry said in a statement. (Malaysia-COVID-19-Japan)

NEW DELHI -- The death toll during communal violence in the Indian capital city Delhi Thursday evening rose to 37, officials said.

HONG KONG -- The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government plans to sell 15 residential sites capable of providing about 7,530 flats in 2020-21 fiscal year starting April.

Of all, five sites are rolled over from the previous fiscal year, according to the land sales program unveiled on Thursday by the Secretary for Development of the HKSAR government Michael Wong.
