MOSCOW, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Two workers were killed and 104 rescued after methane flooded a coal mine in northwest Russia's Komi Republic, local media reported Friday.
There were 106 people working underground at the Vorkutinskaya mine when the accident happened, according to the reports.
Production at the mine has been suspended for an investigation into the cause of the accident. There is no threat of a methane explosion. Enditem
