MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Thursday expressed satisfaction with a "significant decrease in tensions" in Syria's Idlib, the Kremlin said.

WASHINGTON -- As the novel coronavirus disease continues to spread across the globe, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Thursday international cooperation is essential in effectively addressing the outbreak, calling for coordinated action on multiple fronts.

TRIPOLI -- The Ministry of Justice of the UN-backed Libyan government on Thursday accused the rival eastern-based army of randomly shooting civilians near the town of Garrabulli, some 55 km east of capital Tripoli, killing and injuring medical workers.
