Second COVID-19 death reported in India

NEW DELHI, March 14 (Xinhua) -- A 68-year-old woman died Friday evening of coronavirus in Indian capital city Delhi, the Indian health ministry said.

This is the second confirmed novel coronavirus death in the country.

According to the federal health ministry, of the seven cases listed positive in Delhi one has died.

"This evening a 68-year-old woman succumbed here at RML hospital," a health official said. "She was the sixth case of coronavirus to be reported from the capital and had other conditions including high blood pressure and diabetes."

On Thursday India reported first COVID-19 death. The victim 76-year-old man who died in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka on Tuesday. He had a travel history to Saudi Arabia.

The death of woman comes at a day when the number of cases in India rose to 82. Enditem
