Oman confirms 4 new COVID-19 cases

MUSCAT, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The Omani Ministry of Health announced on Saturday four new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 52.

All the new cases are Omani citizens, said a statement by the ministry.

It added that two of the new cases are related to travels to Spain and Britain, and the other two had been in contact with the previously confirmed cases.

Out of the 52 confirmed cases, 13 have recovered.

The ministry called on everyone in Oman to observe the procedures of quarantine and avoid public and worship places as well as gatherings. Enditem
