UAE announces 102 new COVID-19 cases, 570 in total

DUBAI, March 29 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced 102 new COVID-19 cases and one death case on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 570, the Ministry of Health and Prevention said in a statement.

The new cases include many nationalites, and are in stable condition and receiving medical treatment, it added.

The ministry said the death case from COVID-19 is a 47-year-old Arab woman who was suffering from several chronic diseases, which led to complications and eventual death.

The ministry also confirmed the recovery of three more cases, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 58.

The UAE was the first among the Gulf countries to report COVID-19 cases. Enditem
