Zambia reports 6 new COVID-19 cases, total reaching 35

LUSAKA, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Zambia on Monday reported six new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total confirmed cases to 35.

Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya said 51 laboratory tests were conducted in the last 24 hours on samples from a group of people who traveled to Pakistan and those who came into contact with them; six turned positive.

Zambia has ordered 14-day mandatory quarantine for all persons traveling to Zambia from COVID-19 risk areas. Enditem
