BEIRUT, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Monday that the number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 446 with a death toll of 11, the National News Agency reported.

In addition, 32 patients were healed and returned to home, the ministry said, urging people not to leave their houses during the epidemic.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced that various public hospitals across the country are ready to receive patients with respiratory problems and suspected coronavirus cases.

The health ministry has launched an auction of the needed medical equipment and testing kits which will arrive within one to four weeks, according to Hassan.

Meanwhile, Syndicate of Private Hospitals President Suleiman Haroun said private hospitals are still hesitant to receive COVID-19 patients for a lack of necessary equipment to isolate coronavirus patients. Enditem
