Myanmar reports 4 more COVID-19 cases, 14 in total

YANGON, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Four more people including three foreigners tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, the Ministry of Health and Sports said.

As of Monday, the country has reported 14 confirmed cases so far.

The newly confirmed cases include three tourists from France who were being under hotel quarantine in Yangon as they were given guide services by a Myanmar's local tour guide who was confirmed as eighth infected patient.

Also, a 24-year-old Myanmar national in Shan state tested positive after his recent arrival from neighboring Thailand.

At present, the three foreigners are not suffering from symptoms of the disease while the other local patient is in good condition, the ministry said in a statement. Enditem
